MORGANTOWN — The Butler County High School trap team finished first in the regional shoot on Thursday, Oct. 20. 

Butler County featured both the top overall male shooter and top female shooter in the regional shoot. 

Mason Johnson was the top male shooter.

Elivia Heard was the top female shooter. 

In September, Johnson earned All-American recognition. 

Butler County competes in the Kentucky State High School Clay Target League. The league includes high school teams from across the state.
