Butler County Stockman’s Association Annual Meeting – March 24th

The annual meeting of the Butler County Stockman’s Association will be Thursday, March 24th at the Butler County Extension Office at 6:00 p.m.  There will be a sponsored meal, educational presentations, and a short business meeting.

The Stockman’s Association was created to represent all aspects of Butler County’s animal agriculture industry.  It is a volunteer led organization that’s mission is to support the livestock industry in Butler County.  Anyone with livestock in Butler County should be a member of the Stockman’s Association.  Membership dues are $5 per year per family.

Special thanks to this year’s sponsor: Cargill Feed and Nutrition.  Daniel Reynolds, a beef consultant for Cargill, will present on how to better manage our herds.  There will also be discussion of a county livestock directory and initiatives for the stockman’s group.  The Butler County 4-H Teen Club will be preparing our meal. Everyone is invited to attend this meeting.
