Butler County standouts earn All Area honors

MORGANTOWN — Butler County standouts are among the high school football players that have earned All Area honors from ESPN Owensboro.

Brody Hunt was named a First Team All Area Defense Defensive Back.

Carson Miller was named a Second Team All Area Defense Linebacker.

Colton Dunnells was named a Second Team All Area Offense Running Back.

Defensive lineman Logan Hargrove and linebacker Devin Polson were each tabbed All Area Honorable Mention Defense selections.

Under the direction of Coach Brandon Embry, Butler County excelled throughout the 2022 high school football season. Showing much improvement, Butler County exited the 2022 high school football season 8-3. Butler County finished runner-up to rival Owensboro Catholic in Class 2A, District 2.

After making an appearance in the Class 2A Playoffs, Butler County has turned its attention to the 2023 high school football season.
