During the two weeks of camp, students will work on music rehearsals, marching fundamentals, drill instruction, and show preparation as the band begins building its 2026 field production for performances throughout the fall.
The summer schedule serves as the foundation for the upcoming season as the BCHS Marching Band prepares for halftime performances at Butler County football games and appearances at festivals, exhibitions, and regional marching events throughout Kentucky.
Band directors encourage all members to attend every rehearsal possible as each practice plays an important role in the success of the ensemble and the development of the fall show.
The Butler County High School Marching Band has long been one of the school's most visible organizations, representing both BCHS and the Butler County community with pride, dedication, and tradition.
IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE FOR PARENTS, STUDENTS, AND MOTORISTS
As summer rehearsals begin, Butler County High School officials and band staff are asking all parents, students, visitors, and motorists traveling through the BCHS campus to exercise additional caution during scheduled camp hours.
Many marching rehearsals, drill instruction sessions, and Color Guard activities will take place in and around the parking areas adjacent to the band room side of the BCHS building during the practice times listed above. Students will frequently be moving between rehearsal locations, equipment areas, and instructional stations throughout the day.
