Butler County High School Honor Senior Athletes

Eric, Journey, and Ada Hixenbaugh

Butler County High School honored senior athletes from five sports at the first home football game of the 2019 season on Friday night. 

Samantha Henderson ran cross country for 9 years, she is the daughter of Richie and Melissa Henderson, and plans on attending SKYCTC to pursue a degree in nursing.

Autumn Jenkins ran cross country for 7 years, is the daughter of Brian and Angela Jenkins, and she plans to attend the University of Alabama to pursue a degree in Aerospace Engineering.

Conner Glass ran cross country for 8 years, is the son of Ron and Leslie Glass, and plans to attend a technical college and pursue a career in welding.

Journey Hixenbaugh has been on the dance team for 3 years, is the daughter of Eric and Ada Hixenbaugh, and plans to become a photographer and travel the world in a 1967 Volkswagen bus.

Jessica Bruner had been on the dance team for 3 years, is the daughter of Carolyn and James Shepherd and Mike Bruner, and plans to pursue a degree in Culinary Arts at SKY Tech.

Ricki Brown has been on the golf team for 1 year, is the daughter of Stacy Brown and Richard Brown, and plans on attending college to pursue a degree in Psychiatry.

Camryn Newland has been on the golf team for 2 years, is the daughter of Mike and Donna Newland and plans on attending the University of Kentucky to pursue a degree in Microbiology.

 

Jordan Chambers has cheered for 7 years, is the daughter of Denny and Samantha Chambers, and plans to attend Western Kentucky University to pursue a degree in Early Education.

 

Taylor Burden has cheered for 8 years, is the daughter of Chris and Tracy Burden, and plans on attending college to pursue a career in sonography.

Nathan Boord has been on the football team for 1 year, is the son of Kathy Boord, and plans to attend Hobart Welding School.

 

Dylan Norris has been on the football for 1 year, is the son of Melissa Childress and Mark Norris, and plans to attend Madisonville Lineman School.

Ethan Lawrence has played football for 9 years, is the son of Wayne and Brandi Lawrence, and plans to pursue a degree in Industrial Maintenance.
