On Friday, May 28^th at 6:00 pm the 2021 Commencement for Butler County High School will be held on the high school football field with weather permitting.  We are very proud of our seniors, and we are excited to be able to celebrate them in a more traditional graduation ceremony.  In an effort to make this event go as smoothly as possible, we will have school buses picking up guests at the Ag. Extension Office (the old Pamida building) beginning at 4:30 p.m.  The buses will resume the return route as soon as the commencement is over. There will be assistance with initial parking at the school until all parking areas are filled. At that time everyone will be directed to the Ag. Extension building. Those in need of handicap parking will be directed to the top of the hill in back of the football field.  We will reserve ground level bleacher seats for grandparents and family members who cannot climb into the home side bleachers.  Seniors have used a Google form on our website to reserve up to 10 passes per graduate.  Those passes were given out at graduation practice on 5/21.  Please use those to sit in your area.  Families of graduates have had the opportunity to select bleacher seating or lawn chair seating along the track.  We were going to use the field for seating as well, but with the recent expanded capacity in the bleachers, we can now fit more families in the bleachers for a better viewing.  If you have questions or other considerations please call the school at 270-526-2204.
