Butler County High Chapter of the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America bring home several state awards

The Butler County High Chapter of the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America attended the State FCCLA Leadership meeting in Louisville, Kentucky.  This year’s theme was KY FCCLA:  This is Us!  Members attended a variety of sessions geared toward leadership and community service as well as a formal banquet.
Butler County’s FCCLA chapter received the following awards:  Scholarship donation, Sepsis Alliance donation and a Silver Honor Roll.


Chapter member Reece Robbins earned the Power of One recognition.


Several members also competed on the state level and placed:


Parliamentary Procedure Senior, 1st place—Evan Johnson, Ellie Moore, Delaney Embry, Dana Newland, Brooklynn Henderson, Hannah West, Bailey Stinson
Parliamentary Procedure Junior, 1st place—Trinity Cook, Mary Beth Embry, Leslee Washer, Delania Flener, Kinley Mitchell, Erin Tyree, Nate Henderson, Bowen Kirby

Focus on Children, 3rd place—Chaney Brooks, Virginia Deweese, Grace Decker


Early Childhood, 3rd place—Amber Blunk
All first place and second place winners are eligible to attend the National FCCLA Leadership Conference this summer in Atlanta.
Members were accompanied by advisers, Kimberlea Embry and Ruthie Minton along with student teacher, Taylor Stewart.
