Butler County DAR Ladies Attend Genealogy Workshop

The Kentucky Society Daughters of the American Revolution held a workshop in Bowling Green on Saturday, May 13. Attending from the Butler County Chapter were Linda Deweese, Lois Russ, Gladys Brooks and Lynda O’Driscoll. The ladies were given research tips for finding information on your Revolutionary ancestors. The workshop also included information on how to use the new online application for membership into the DAR presented by KSDAR Registrar Ann Penington.

If you are female, 18 or older and think you may have a Revolutionary ancestor and are interested in joining the DAR, contact the Butler County Registrar, Linda Deweese at 270.526.4000 or any chapter member.
