The Butler County Cross Country team has had a strong start to the 2019 season.  Runners traveled to Bowling Green on Saturday, September 7 for the Purple Strider meet at Kereiakes Park.  The boys’ varsity team was led by Parker Smith with a 5k time of 20:00. He was followed by Bowen Kirby-20:55, Conner Glass-22:18, Case Hooten-23:07, Jacob Camp-24:33, Marvin Brown-24:56, Dawson Deel-26:09 and James House-29:15.
