Butler County Conservation District hosts “Meet and Greet”

Wednesday morning, December 4, was the second annual get together for the community to learn more about what the local conservation district does for Butler County.

Ryan and Angela Emmick were recognized for all their hard work this past year at Struttin Rooster Farm.

State Representative Steve Sheldon stopped by along with Judge-Executive Tim Flener and many other county officials.

The board and staff stay busy working to improve Butler County. Just a few of the programs they are involved in are Ag Radio Show, Claypool Art and Writing Contest, local grants, free tree seedlings each spring, Bears' Den, and much more.
