OWENSBORO - The Butler County cross country team competed in the Daviess County Classic at Yellow Creek Park on Saturday, Oct. 9.

The results for the Butler County cross country team follow.

Girls' 5,000 Meter Run: 59. Harmony Taylor, 24:42.90; 102. Briley Webster, 28:05.51; 106. Emma Winchel, 28:29.68; 139. Ally Brown, 40:22.64.

Boys' 5,000 Meter Run: 47. Parker Smith, 18:23.24; 117. Case Hooten, 20:51.28; 174. Colt Akers, 3:45.61; 211. Brian Cantu, 27:35.49.

Butler County is scheduled to compete in the Franklin-Simpson High School-hosted Wildcat Wilderness Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 16. 

Looking ahead to the high school cross country postseason, Butler County is slated to compete in the KHSAA Class 2A, Region 2 Meet in Elizabethtown on Friday, Oct. 22.
