Butler County Chapter NSDAR Observes Constitution Week
The Butler County Chapter NSDAR had as guest speakers for their September meeting Blake Bratcher and Case Hooten. The students told of their recent experiences serving as pages at the Kentucky State Capitol in Frankfort for Senator C.B. Embry. They had written an essay and were selected to represent Butler County through a program sponsored by BC Family Resource Center. They were invited to speak as part of the annual observance of Constitution Week by the NSDAR.
Other activities sponsored by the chapter included participation of Bears Den and the Boys and Girls Club which both used a variety of related materials to increase knowledge of our Constitution and the benefits it grants to us as citizens of the United States.
Chapter members were encouraged to take advantage of a free online course on the Constitution at: hillsdalecollege.edu/constitution which is available to anyone.
