Butler County Chapter NSDAR Flag Day Program

On June 14, 2022 the Butler County Chapter NSDAR held their Flag Day Program at the courthouse lawn. Members of the community were welcome by Gail Gaddie, BCDAR Flag Chair, and led in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Judge Executive Tim Flener conducted the opening prayer.

Opening prayer was followed by the National Anthem sung by Shera Lindsey.

Ragged Old Flag was read by Doug Odle, Vietnam Veteran. A copy of Ragged Old Flag can be found at this link: Ragged Old Flag.docx.

Before closing out the program, there was a Flag Fashion Show. Fashions were provided by Coral Barn Boutique and Drake’s Farm Service. Gail Gaddie closed the program by thanking everyone for attending and showing their love and support for the country’s flag.
