Butler County Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizen of the Year

The Butler County Daughters of the American Revolution announce the Good Citizen for 2016. Emily Caroline Wallace, daughter of Greg and Penny Wallace, senior at Butler County High is our Good Citizen.
    Emily has been active in many school activities her high school years. Some are Beta Club, Health Occupations Students of America, Pep Club, Family Career and Community Leaders of America, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Tennis, Golf and was Field Commander of the Butler County Marching Band.
    Her community activities are Relay for Life event coordinator, teacher at the Morgantown Mission, Active in church Handbell Choir, Adult Choir, VBS teacher and Sunday School teacher, tutor and works at Houchens Industries.
    She has received awards for the Outstanding Youth Chamber Achievement Award, the Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Conference, winner in the FCCLA Star Events and received awards in both sports Golf and Tennis. Emily has maintained a 4.0 standing.
    The BCDAR will be honoring Emily Wallace at a Silver Tea on April 28, 2016 at the Butler County Library at 7:00 PM.
