When the bell rings at the end of the day, many Butler County children are faced with daunting perils – pressure to take part in behaviors and activities that can seriously disrupt their lives and ruin their futures. Having the courage and right judgment to say no to gangs, drugs and other high-risk actions does not come easily. That is why our Club provides a safe-haven for children during those late afternoon and early evening hours.

The doors to our Boys & Girls Club remain open and accessible to all children. And gives our over 300 members:

• A Safe Place for those who may be left alone after school or on the streets with no guidance. Our Club is a safe place to play and a safe place to learn.

• Life-Enhancing Programs that can open young minds. Our Boys & Girls Club exposes youth to new ideas and skills that prepare them for life. We teach the importance of character in all of our programs.

• A Relationship with Caring, Trained Adults. The availability of dependable, caring adults who are responsive to a child’s daily realities are critical to developing meaningful, often lifelong relationships, that enable children to reach their full potential.

• Academic Achievement  “High School Graduation” and “Attending College” will become realistic goals of our members. Homework assistance is provided daily.
