Butler County Board Honors Students

The Butler County Board of Education met on May 10th and honored several students. The students honored are as follows:

Governor's Scholar - Tobin Maxfield

BCHS FBLA State Competition:

Brady Jones, Hope Phelps, and Maggie Childers - Talent Show (1st Place)

High School FBLA National Qualifications:

Maggie Drake - Intro to Business Communication (4th Place), Parker Stallings - Personal Finance (4th Place), Sophia Burns - Supply Chain Management (2nd Place), and Erica Sells - International Business.

2022 Skills USA Tool Identification State Competition:

Blake Tomes (1st Place)

Archery:

Tobin Maxfield - KHSAA 3rd Place in Region, Graysen Henderson - Middle School State NASP 3rd Place, and BCHS Boys Team - KHSAA Regional Runner-Up

BCHS FCCLA - March:

Dawson Deel - Agnes Foster Golden Horizon Award, Avery Gleason & Mackenzie Tyree - Focus on Children (2nd Place), Olivia Renfrow & Tera Hampton - Parliamentary Procedure Team (1st Place), and Case Hooten, Parker Smith, Harmony Taylor, and Briley Webster.
