Butler County Bassmasters Nolin Lake Tournament Results

Butler County Bassmasters held their third Points tournament for the 2016 season at Nolin Lake Saturday, May the 14th. The weather was pretty brutal, with dropping temperatures and high winds taking the larger fish out of the equation for the most part. The fish are on the tail end of the spawn, with fish being caught all throughout the water column.  There were 58 fish brought to the weigh scale for a total weight of 88.90 pounds for the tournament, with all fish being released alive back to Nolin Lake to be caught again.

There were 19 boats that participated in the tournament with Daniel Cardwell and Nathan Neighbors taking 1st place with 9.48 lbs. 2nd John Rosser with 9.01 lbs. 3rd David Coleman and Ryan Coleman with 8.48 lbs.  Big Bass went to John Rosser with a 3.15 lb. largemouth.  For anyone wanting the complete tournament field results and up to date points, you can visit the web-site at butlercountybassmasters.webs.com.  The next BCB event will be a points tournament at Green River at the Rochester Ramp, Saturday, May the 28th 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
