Butler County Bassmasters' Barren River Tournament Results

Butler County Bassmasters held their sixth team trail points tournament for the 2016 season at Barren River out of Lonnie White Park on Saturday, August 27th. The weather on the river was extremely hot and sunny. The water was back to normal pool finally but was stained. There were reports of numerous fish being caught, but size was much more difficult to come by. There were 43 fish brought to the weigh scale for a total weight of 54.35 pounds for the tournament, with all fish being released alive. Brian Vincent and Clay Vincent took home 1st place with 6.75 lbs.

2nd place went to John Coots and James Renfrow with 6.63 lbs. 3rd was Jeremy Keown and Melinda Keown with 5.36 lbs.

Big Bass went to Chris Johnson and Dustin Dockery with a 3.78 lb. largemouth.

The next BCB event will be a team trail tournament at the Rochester Boat Ramp on Pool #3 of Green River, Saturday, September 10th from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM. Entry fee will be $40.00.
