Butler Co. Young Farmers Meeting

Young Farmers of America Meeting will be held on January 14, 2013, at the Butler Co. Extension Office at 6:00 PM. This meeting will be to begin the reestablishment of the Butler County Chapter of the Young Farmers of America. There is no age limit so anyone who is interested, or maybe even just curious, is welcome to come and join in. "We will be discussing the focus of the YFA, the events and programs it makes available to you, and how it will benefit you as a farmer, as well as what it takes to be an active member. We will be gathering your input and ideas as to how the program should proceed, so as to meet the needs and education that our members would deem important," said Lance Lockhart, advisor.
"Please join us and help us get “YOUR” YFA chapter started off on the right foot. I look forward to seeing each of you there. Please RSVP with me by Friday January 11, 2013 so we can plan the meal accordingly," added Lockhart.
