Hack Home

2147 Dexterville/Oak Ridge Road

Morgantown, Kentucky

This is the home of Jeremy Hack. Purchased in November of 2013, the home underwent a 7-month renovation process, transforming the design of the house from its original  traditional/primitive style into a sleek, sophisticated modern/contemporary home. This modestly-sized home is more about quality than size. The open-plan living area features a fixed electronic fireplace, 70" television, brass bell phonograph record player, knight armor figurines, large area rug, black leather couch, and ottoman. The floors are a dark, natural hardwood and the decorative prints are the own work of the homeowner. The kitchen area features custom fabricated white cabinets with self-shutting doors, marble counter tops, a black porcelain sink, integrated wine rack, china doors, and black Kenmore appliances. The hallway features a hanging display of a handcrafted sword; This solid-hilt, carbon steel replica is a model based off of the franchise "the Legend of Zelda" and is one of only 3 currently in existence.

The home also features a multimedia workroom tuned to the needs of the homeowner. It features a soundproofed recording booth, 4 32" computer monitors, audio mixers, a custom-built PC, 8-bottle wine cooler, and a digital turntable. It is decorated with the homeowner's awards, certificates, and numerous prints of photos he has made during his travels. This room is complete with a biometric door lock (fingerprint scanner) which allows entry.
