Butler Co. HS Football History / Short Sports
Let's look back at BCHS Football history. The following is a recall of its beginning. Butler County High School opened its doors in the 1953-54.
Butler County High School Football's first season was the 1966-67 school year, a significant milestone in history. The 1966 first football team, a group of pioneers, was led by head coach Jim Meyers.
As we fast-forward to the 2024 football season, we celebrate a remarkable milestone-the 59th season of BCHS football. This rich tradition is carried forward by first-year head coach Joshua Robins, who leads the 2024 team.
Recalling the following teams of 1974, 1984, 1994, 2004, and 2014—team anniversaries of ten, twenty, thirty, forty, and fifty years ago.
Fifty years ago, the 1974 team had head coach Dan Hill.
Forty years ago, the 1984 team's head coach was Richard Stonebraker.
Thirty years ago, the 1994 team's head coach was Jeff Jennings.
Twenty years ago, the 2004 team's head coach was Robert Tuck.
Ten years ago, the 2014 team's head coach was Ryan Emmick.
