Fifth District Magistrate Dillon Bryant has been appointed by Larry Johnson, president of the National Association of Counties (NACo), to serve on two committees. Bryant will serve as the Subcommittee Vice-Chair of the Agriculture and Rural Affairs Steering Committee (Agriculture and Food Safety Subcommittee) and a Rural Action Caucus (RAC) member.

"My presidential initiative will highlight your service and the important work of your committees in these realms: Technology, Health, Readiness, Infrastructure, Vulnerable Populations, and Economic Opportunities. I am counting on you to advance my initiative to make life better for all those we serve," said Johnson.

Bryant will attend the NACo Legislative Conference in Washington, D.C. in February.
