An early morning incident at a Brownsville Road residence near Morgantown has resulted in the shooting of at least one person.  Initial reports have indicated that a Kentucky Fish and Wildlife officer was involved in the shooting and that shots were exchanged between an officer and the suspect.  The suspect was airlifted from the Charles Black City Park.  WBKO is reporting that the suspect is in critical but stable condition.  

According to sources, the officer involved in the altercation was not shot.  Multiple law enforcement agencies, including the Kentucky State Police, responded to the scene shortly after 2 a.m. Thursday morning for a domestice dipute.
