BOYS' H.S. BASKETBALL: Hebrews 12 Coffee Christmas Classic

MORGANTOWN - Butler County is set to host a holiday event. The Hebrews 12 Coffee Christmas Classic is slated for Friday-Saturday at Butler County High School.

Along with host Butler County, which is off to a 5-0 start in the 2019-20 boys' high school basketball season, Owensboro Catholic, Todd County Central, McLean County, Murray and Hickman County are poised to compete in the Christmas Classic. 

Additional sponsors for the holiday boys' high school basketball event are Central Screen Printing, Blue Grass Vending, Western Kentucky Appraisals, Jones Funeral Chapel, Kentucky Farm Bureau, Embry & Watts CPA, Blake Gardner State Farm, Green River Feed Mill, Chad's Body Shop and Wrecker Service, Jailer Ricky Romans, Donna Wilson Realty, Morgantown Bank & Trust, Hebrews 12 Coffee, the family of Osco Bratcher, Green River Equipment, Jackson Chiropractic, Farm Boy Restaurant, Fire House Pizza and Triple C Pawn.

Boys' high school basketball teams from three different regions are prepared to take the floor in Morgantown. 

Each game of the Hebrews 12 Christmas Classic will be played on the Calvin Dockery-coached Bears' home floor.



The schedule for the Christmas Classic is as follows:


Friday, Dec. 20

Owensboro Catholic vs. Todd County Central, 5:30 p.m.

Murray vs. McLean County, 7 p.m.

Hickman County vs. Butler County, 8:30 p.m.


Saturday, Dec. 21

Murray vs. Todd County Central, 10 a.m.

McLean County vs. Hickman County, 11:30 a.m.

Owensboro Catholic vs. Murray, 1 p.m.

Todd County Central vs. Butler County, 2:30 p.m.

Owensboro Catholic vs. Hickman County, 4 p.m.

McLean County vs. Butler County, 5:30 p.m.
