Bobby Smith appointed as new agency manager of Butler County Farm Bureau

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (June 22, 2020) – Bobby Smith has been appointed as the new agency manager with Kentucky Farm Bureau (KFB) Insurance at Butler County Farm Bureau. Smith's appointment was announced in Louisville by Chuck Osborne, Vice President of Agency Support & Marketing for KFB Insurance.

Smith has served KFB in several capacities over the past few years. He started as an insurance agent in Butler County in 2007, and then served as the Gallatin County agency manager from 2015 to 2018. In 2018, he took on a new role as agency manager in the Mercer County Farm Bureau – Summit Center office.

In his new position, Smith will be calling on the residents of Butler County to offer a wide variety of insurance coverage through KFB Insurance. He will also manage the daily operations of the staff at the Butler County Farm Bureau office located at 213 West GL Smith St., Morgantown, KY 42261, and can be reached by phone at (270) 526-3210.

Smith joins a well-established network of approximately 400 Kentucky Farm Bureau agents statewide. The company, founded in 1943, has offices in all of the commonwealth's 120 counties. Farm Bureau markets a wide variety of insurance lines, from homeowner's and automobile coverage to life and health insurance and retirement planning. 

The insurance services are affiliated with Butler County Farm Bureau, one of the largest membership organizations in the county. Farm Bureau members have access to a variety of membership services, including discount buying programs, college scholarships, farm marketing, and leadership development activities.
