Black and Hawkins collaborate on CDs

Mary Alice Black and Linda Hawkins have collaborated on two cd's in recent years and on Friday's Coffee with Kathy, they talked about the cd's. Both are collections of piano solos with the first one, The Joy of Music, a collection of movie and show tunes, including music from The Sound of Music and Oklahoma. The newest cd, This is my Song, is a collection of gospel favorites, including Blessed Assurance and I'll Fly Away. Hawkins said that both cds are wonderfully peaceful and inspirational. During the show, they took callers to win a copy and Byra Meredith gets her choice of which cd she wants. Both cds are available at the BTN studios at 107 W. Ohio St., from Black, Heart to Heart Publishing or on amazon.com.
