Bears win two of three games at Grayson County

LEITCHFIELD - Butler County won two of three games in the Grayson County Spring Break Bash on Friday, April 9. The Bears notched wins over Knox Central and North Hardin while dropping a game to Christian Academy-Louisville.
 
Butler County 16, Knox Central 0: Butler County blanked Knox Central 16-0 in three innings in the Grayson County Spring Break Bash on Friday, April 9. 
Aliceson Hunt was the winning pitcher for the Bears, pitching a no-hitter. Hunt allowed zero hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out four and walking one.
Offensively, Butler County outhit Knox Central 14-0.
Hunt, Madison Clark, Aleace Hall and Isabella Akers each recorded multiple hits for the Bears. Hunt went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Butler County's offensive attack.
 
Butler County 5, North Hardin 4: Determined Butler County edged North Hardin 5-4 in the Grayson County Spring Break Bash on Friday, April 9.
Aliceson Hunt was the winning pitcher for the Bears. Hunt pitched a complete game, allowing four runs on seven hits while striking out eight and walking zero over seven innings.
Butler County outhit North Hardin 9-7. Autumn Proctor and Aleace Hall collected two hits apiece to lead the Bears' offensive attack. 
 
Christian Academy-Louisville 12, Butler County 5: Butler County was limited offensively as Christian Academy-Louisville pulled away to win 12-5 in the Grayson County Spring Break Bash on Friday, April 9. 
In the circle, Butler County pitcher Aliceson Hunt suffered the loss. Hunt pitched a complete game, allowing 12 runs on 10 hits while striking out eight and walking one over seven innings.
Each team recorded 10 hits.
Providing a lift at the plate for Butler County, Aubrey Clark homered in the fifth inning. 
Olivia Austin, Carley Jones and Isabella Akers combined to pace Butler County at the plate, providing two hits apiece for the Bears.
