Bears, Wildcats set to tangle

The Edmonson County Wildcats travel to Morgantown on Friday night for what they hope will be their second win on the young season.  Meanwhile, the Butler County Bears will be hoping to erase last week's loss to Logan and secure their first win on the season in front of a home crowd.  Traditional rivals, Butler and Edmonson have battled back and forth in football and it other sports over the years with the Bears clinging to a 10-9 series advantage in football since 2000.

BCHS Head Coach Brandon Embry believes line play may prove to be the difference in this game.

"We have to win game up front," said Embry.  "Whoever wins the battle in the trenches likely wins the game.  We need to try to make them beat us somewhere other than with quarterback."
