Bears ranked sixth in AP Class 2A Poll

MORGANTOWN — Butler County is ranked sixth in the latest Kentucky Associated Press Class 2A high school football poll, which was released on Monday, Sept. 26.
The Bears are 5-0 overall and 1-0 in Class 2A, District 2. Butler County has claimed wins over Russellville, Edmonson County, Breckinridge County, Grayson County and McLean County. 
The Bears are ranked ahead of Somerset, Hancock County, McLean County and Prestonsburg in the Kentucky Associated Press Class 2A Poll.
Lexington Christian, Owensboro Catholic, Metcalfe County, Beechwood and Mayfield are ranked ahead of the Bears. 
Butler County is scheduled to visit Hancock County for a Class 2A, District 2 game on Friday, Sept. 30.
