Bears knock off Warren Central on Senior Night
MORGANTOWN — Butler County wouldn't be denied a win on Senior Night.
The Bears knocked off Warren Central 60-47 on Tuesday, Feb. 4.
Following the win, Butler County evened its overall record to 12-12.

The Bears beat Warren Central for the first time since 1987.
Warren Central entered the matchup ranked among the state's Top 10 boys' high school basketball teams.
Butler County carried a lead out of each quarter, outscoring Warren Central 17-13 in the opening period.

Bears, under the direction of Coach Calvin Dockery, led 35-26 at halftime.
Remaining out in front midway through the second half, Butler County led 47-33 at the end of the third quarter.
Ty Price paced Butler County in its win, scoring 20 points for the Bears.
Along with Price's leading performance for Butler County, Briar Griffin netted 15 points, Trever Deweese scored 12 points and Justin Castlen tallied 10 points.
Rounding out Butler County's scoring, Case Hooten contributed two points and Cainan Vincent added one point.
