Bears head to Camp Loucon

The Butler County Bears varsity football team will leave for a mini-camp at Camp Loucon, in Grayson County next week. New Head Coach Joshua Robins and staff and team will make the trip to Camp Loucon and conduct drills on August 1-2-3.

Camp Loucon is a Methodist Church camp and offers excellent facilities for various groups including football teams.

Throughout the decades dating back to the late 1980s, BCHS Football teams have made the trip in late July or early August.

Former BCHS head football coaches Allen, Tuck, Emmick, and Embry have all taken teams to Camp Loucon. Training Camp at Camp Loucon is isolated, no distractions, and is an opportunity to get the much-needed reps, and workouts needed as the first pre-season scrimmage quickly approaches.
