Bears fall to Bethlehem in non-district game

BARDSTOWN — Butler County couldn't battle back from behind as Bethlehem pulled away to win 45-8 in a non-district game on Friday, Sept. 29.
Bethlehem dealt Butler County its sixth straight loss in the 2023 high school football season. 
Following the loss, Butler County (Class 3A, District 2) dropped to 1-6.
Bethlehem (Class 1A, District 2) improved to 4-3 after posting the win. 
Butler County, which is 0-2 in Class 3A, District 2, has regular season games remaining versus Adair County, Glasgow and Ohio County. 
The Bears are open the week of Friday, Oct. 6. 
Butler County is scheduled to host Adair County for a Class 3A, District 2 game at 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 13. Also idle the week of Friday, Oct. 6, Adair County is 4-3 overall and 0-3 in Class 3A, District 2.
