BCSD Makes Drug Arrest

The Butler County Sheriff’s Department stopped a 1983 Malibu on North Tyler Street seen leaving the area of a prowler complaint on September 14th at 2:48am. The driver Buddy Dockery, 35, appeared nervous when stopped.  There were two other occupants in the vehicle.  When asked their names Dockery gave false names.  Dockery gave consent for the vehicle to be searched.  One of the passengers informed Deputy Chris Reneer there was methamphetamine in the trunk.  When questioned Dockery admitted possession of drugs and pulled the carpet panel from the trunk and gave Deputy Reneer a container of suspected methamphetamine and a pipe.  Dockery was lodged in the Butler County Jail and charged with possession of controlled substance 1st degree, 1st offense. Morgantown Police Officer Charles Dauley assisted.
