BCMS Volleyball picks up win at Hancock Co.

Butler County Middle School Volleyball team was in action last Thursday. They lost to St. Romauld in straight sets but played really good fundamental volleyball. The girls continue to improve with every game. On Tuesday they traveled to Hancock Co. This is Hancock's first year to have a Middle school team as well. BCMS 6th, 7th and 8th grades won in straight sets against Hancock. 6th grade won 21-11 and 21-12 thanks in part to great serving by Shay Oaks and Megan Parker.

7th grade won hard fought games 21-20 and 21-14. 8th grade won handily 21-23 and 21-10 aided by excellent serving by Aliyah Flener and Johnna Cox combining for 12 Aces in the match.
