B.C.M.S. students help Wounded Warrior Project
Butler County Middle School had three Student Technology Leadership Program (STLP) students who lead a fundraiser for the Wounded Warrior Project over the past couple of months. The students who lead the project were Hannah McClelland, Hannah Perry, and Mikayla Iler. They participated in the program Treats for Troops by raising money from selling baked goods. All of the proceeds went towards the Wounded Warriors Project and the final total they raised was $200 with the help from many generous people in the community. They held four selling events at the Good News Community Center, IGA, one Middle School basketball game, and at the Winter Fest. They would all like to thank all who came out and helped them raise the funds for the Wounded Warriors.
