BCMS Softball wins GRVC Championship

With a 20-plus win season and a #1 seed in the tournament, the Butler County Middle School softball team rolled to victory last week in the Green River Valley Conference Tournament. It was the first conference championship for the school in its third year of conference play.

BCMS defeated St. Romuald 12-0, Hancock County 3-2, and Ohio County 6-5 on a walk-off single for the championship.

BCMS is scheduled to play this coming weekend, weather permitting, in the Middle School State Tournament. It will be held at Buchanan Park in Bowling Green.
