BCMS Softball in full swing!

Butler County Middle School (BCMS) softball is in full swing and will continue to Fall Break. The young softball Bears have picked up wins against Grayson County and St. Mary's, while dropping close games to Logan County, Franklin-Simpson, and Allen County-Scottsville, among others. BCMS has a lot of softball remaining, including three tournaments. The Bears will play at Owensboro Catholic this weekend, Saturday, September 7. BCMS will be in tournament action September 28 at Webster County, and will wrap up the season October 4-5 with the Middle School State Tournament at Marshall County.

The team has a roster of 24 ranging from grades 5-8. 8th graders are Olivia Jones and Tori McKinney; 7th graders are Delaney Embry, Dixie Garnier, Kasidy Graham, Kadi Hunt, Brooklyn Martin, Kylee Smith, and Amber Thacker; 6th graders are Bayleigh Alford, Shalyn Bratcher, Chaney Brooks, Hannah Chaney, Virginia Deweese, Evyn Frazier, Haley Peach, Ashley Thacker, and Jacie Ward; 5th graders are Aubrey Clark, Andrea Deweese, Audrey Deweese, Aleace Hall, Conley Moore, and Leslee Washer.
