1. Library News
Students need to make sure they have filled out their KBA ballots in the library if they have read two of them for the KBA Celebration Announcement Party.

Top 12 AR students will be going on a field trip this Friday, April 20th to the SOKY Book Festival at the WKU Knicely Center.

AR’s 250 Point Club, Top Box Top Collectors, some students who have read all the 2012 KBAs, and STLP’s top fundraiser, Trevor Daugherty will go on a field trip Friday, April 27th to visit Barnes & Noble to pick out a free paperback and to see Disney’s new documentary Chimpanzee.

We will begin turning in library books Monday, April 23rd to give us two weeks of taking up books before testing the last two weeks of school. If books are lost, students will need to make plans to meet financial obligations for replacement costs of books.

2. BCMS Cheerleaders will be sponsoring a Spring Social after school this Friday April 20th until 4:30. Half the gym will be for dancing/socializing and the other half will be for basketball. The cost is $2.00.

School Events
1. Monday, April 16 – Cheerleading and Basketball Banquet at 5:30 p.m. Boys and Girls basketball players are asked to bring a vegetable or casserole dish and cheerleaders a dessert.

2. Thursday, April 19 – BCMS Baseball will be at home against Drakes Creek at 5:00 p.m.

General Information
1. BCMS Cheerleading clinics and tryouts will be held April 25th and 26th, and tryouts will be on the 27th. Sign-ups ended on Friday, April 13th. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Smith-Thomas.
