This week the Junior Beta officers of Butler County Middle School attended the Beta Leadership Summit in Bowling Green, Kentucky.  Students attended leadership sessions and officer training.  Emmie Hawkins, Mark Gruber, Addison Norris and Jenelle Kimmel competed and qualified for nationals in Lead Outside the Box, a competition where students are given a prompt and must come up with a community outreach project and presentation designed around it. The Butler County Middle School Jr. Beta chapter also received an Outstanding Leadership award for their involvement in the National Beta Club.
