B.C.M.S. to host "Family Night" on Tuesday

Students and parents are invited back to school on Tuesday evening, October 27, for Butler County Middle School's annual "Family Night" event.  Scheduled to kick off at 3:30 p.m. and run until 6 p.m., the activity is designed, in part, to allow parents to visit the school and meet their child's teacher.

"It will be a great time to meet with your child's teacher, pick up their grade card for the first nine weeks, as well as their K-PREP scores from last school year," said B.C.M.S. Principal Tim Freeman.  "Explore Reports for 8th grade students will also be available.  We're looking forward to a good night."

In addition to a hot dog supper, a book fair will be going on in the library and district technology coordinator Jimmy Arnold will be available at 4 p.m. in the computer lab to discuss the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.  Other events include an art video and display, band and choir performances, I.L.P. information with school counselor Sherlyn Bratcher at 5:15 p.m., and adult education information at 5:45 p.m. - both in the computer lab.

"We encourage middle school students and parents to attend this important school event," said Freeman.
