Butler County Middle School awarded students for outstanding performance in their 2013 K-PREP testing on Tuesday, May 6 in the BCMS gymnasium.

The following students were awarded:

Current 7th graders (6th grade at the time of the test) who received distinguished in all categories were Alyssa Swift and Sierra Woodcock.

Current 8th graders (7th grade at the time of the test) who received distinguished in all categories wer ePatton Allen, Garrett Embry, Cole Johnson, Tori Hampton, and Brennan Grubb

There were no current 9th graders (8th grade at the time of testing). to receive distinguished in all categories.

BCMS has shown well above the state average for improvement in state testing over the past year.
