BCMS Archery takes 2nd place in regional tournament

The BCMS Archery team and coaches loaded the bus and were followed by family and friends to Breckinridge County Middle School for the Region 3 Tournament.

Before their flight time to shoot, they were joined by Muhlenberg North Middle School on the court as they formed a large circle and prayed.

After hundreds of arrows had hit their target, Butler County had finished in second place, letting everyone know they were not to be taken lightly with the state tournament approaching.

Maelynn Bilicki has been consistent all season and finished in 1st place among the females with a score of 286; Larkin O'Connell was right behind her with a score of 283 for 2nd place.

Brodie Vinson finished fourth among the males with a score of 283.

The team and coaches enjoyed the comradeship of riding the bus and they stopped at Pizza Hut for a well-deserved celebration following the competition.
