BCHS/BCMS Softball Tryouts
Tryouts for the Butler County High School & Middle School softball teams will be held July 10-12, 2012 at the BCHS Softball Complex off Gardner Lane in Morgantown from 6 to 8 p.m. nightly.  Those times may be moved to later in the evening if the heat index is too high.  Tryouts are open to all players who will be in grades 5-12 for the 2012-13 school year.  All players in grades 5-8 are trying out for the middle school team only.  If you make the middle school team, then whether or not you play up to the next level will be determined by how you perform during the fall middle school season.    Girls trying out must have a KHSAA physical and permission form, which can be picked up at local schools or downloaded from the KHSAA website (www.khsaa.org).  YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO TRYOUT FOR THE TEAM IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A COMPLETED KHSAA PHYSICAL AND PERMISSION FORM.  Roster positions are limited and tryouts will be competitive, as well as physically demanding.  Tryout forms will be available at local schools, from Coach Jack Clark at Butler County Farm Bureau or at the Beech Tree Media office at 107 West Ohio Street in Morgantown.  For more information, contact Coach John Embry at 526-7945.
