BCHS Students Receive WKU “Mark of Excellence Awards” in Journalism

The WKU “Mark of Excellence Awards” in journalism was held on Friday, March 23rd at the Mass Media Technology Hall on the campus of Western Kentucky University. The following students competed with entries in four Broadcasting Categories:

1st Place - Best Feature Story: “A Life’s Journey” by Tabatha Stratton and Tiffany Moore.

1st Place – Best News Story: “Daughters of Breast Cancer Survivors” by Summer Berry and Emily Renfrow.

2nd Place – Best Sports Story: “BCHS Marching Band 2011” by Kayley Jarboe and Samantha Camus.
