I have been accepted and plan to attend Western Kentucky University this fall to study health sciences.  I am taking the medical pathway in hopes of becoming a physician assistant.  I have been awarded a Merit Scholarship at WKU of $4,000 a year.  I have my 4.0, and was a top junior last year at graduation.  I have won many lass awards, such as the COMM 145 award for my junior year.  My parents are Holly Elmore and Darrell McKee.  My school activities include being Beta Club President, Vice President of Spanish Club, and being involved in FCCLA, FCA, pep club, and being Editor in Chief of yearbook as well.

Dawson Deel

Throughout my time in High School, I have strived to succeed academically and in all of my extracurricular activities.  I’ve participated in many organizations like FCCLA, BETA, and HOSA.  I’ve also been given opportunities to compete against excellent competitors through the swim, tennis, cross country, and baseball teams.  After high school, I plan to attend Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College to pursue a two-year degree in nursing.  After I’ve acquired a two-year nursing degree, I intend to pursue a career in travel nursing.
