BCHS Softball Recognizes Seniors

Natoshia White, Lynsie Clark, and Amy Rogers

The Butler County High School Softball team recognized their seniors on Monday night. 

Natoshia White is the daughter of Billy and Connie White.  She has played second base for the Bears and has been on the team since 7th grade.  Her favorite memory is hitting three back-to-back homeruns against Logan County.  Natoshia's advice to returning players is to pick up your feet before rounding second base.  She plans to attend Bowling Green Tech and become a Registered Nurse.

Lynsie Clark is the daughter of Jack and Sherry Clark.  She plays third base and has been part of the team since 6th grade.  Lynsie's favorite memory is going to the regional tournament and winning the district championship as a freshman. Her advice to returning players: Enjoy every minute of it because it goes by fast.  She will be attending St. Catherine College on a softball scholarship.

Amy Rogers is the daughter of David and Rita Rogers.  She is the catcher for the Bears and has been on the team since 6th grade.  Her favorite memory is the regional tournament her 8th grade year, in the game against Apollo where she had the walk off hit to win the game and send the team to the next round.  This was also the game the team had to play in two days due to rain.  Amy's advice to returning players : Do not take anything for granted.  Your senior year will be over before you know it.  Play for your team not yourself.  Amy will be attending Lindenwood College on a softball scholarship.
