The Butler County Bears' Softball team honored their lone senior on Monday night as they hosted McLean County.

Senior Bella Akers was escorted to the pitching mound by her mother Kimberley Akers. Bella plays outfield for the Lady Bears. Her best BCHS Softball memory is winning district tournaments, going to Cincinnati, and all the memories with her teammates and watching Carley Jones fall out of the on-deck circle.

Bella's advice to returning players is to cherish the moments you get with your friends and have fun because it all goes by quickly.

Bella plans to attend the University of Kentucky on an academic scholarship majoring in business marketing and interior design.
