BCHS September 2013 Students of the Month

Butler County High School Senior Amy Rogers

Four Butler County High School students have been recommended by faculty/staff members for September student of the month honors based on attendance, promptness to class, participation in class, grades or attitude.  These students are Tamara Kitchens, Hannah Barrow, Whitney Jenkins and Amy Rogers.

Hannah is the 10th grade daughter of Kimberly and Dwight Barrow.  Her extracurricular activities include Tennis.  Her future plans are to go to college and major in nursing.

Tamara is the 9th grade daughter of Ginger and Darrell Brown.  Her extracurricular activities include FCCLA.  She enjoys spending time with family and friends.  Her future plans are to graduate from high school, go to UK and become a teacher in Butler County.

 

 

Whitney is the 11th grade daughter of Lori Kiper.  Her extracurricular activities include FCCLA and Pep Club.  She also enjoys playing with her dog.  Her future plans are to graduate high school, go on to college, become a pediatrician and later travel the world. 

Amy is the 12th grade daughter of Rita and David Rogers.  Her extracurricular activities include playing softball for the Lady Bears, helping with the middle school softball team, Beta Club and Spanish Club.  Her future plans are to go to college while playing on a softball scholarship.  She plans on majoring in athletic training with and minoring in journalism.  She also hopes to coach a softball team someday.
