Four Butler County High School students have been recommended by faculty/staff members for September student of the month honors based on attendance, promptness to class, participation in class, grades or attitude.  These students are Sara Santilli, Lute Locke, Katelynn Pierson and Maggie Willis.

Sara is the 9th grade daughter of Michelle Santilli.  She is a member of the BCHS academic team.  She enjoys reading, writing, baking, sewing and watching comedies.  Her future plans are to attend college either in Kentucky or Rhode Island and to pursue a degree in psychology or information technology.

Lute is the 10th grade son of Jeanie and Bryan Locke.  He is involved in Band, STLP and enjoys music and playing the guitar.  He also takes care of the sound booth at church.  His future plans are to complete high school, go to college and live a good, happy, long life.

Katelynn Pierson is the 11th grade daughter of David and Kathy Pierson.  She enjoys crafts and hands-on activities.  Her future plans are to go to college and pursue a degree to be an obstetrics nurse.  She would also like to get married and have a family after she establishes her career.

Maggie is the 12th grade daughter of Tommy Willis and Ailsa Willis.  She enjoys co-oping at Morgantown Care and Rehab Center.  Her future plans are to graduate high school, go to tech school and obtain her RN license.  She hopes to work in a pediatric office.
