The Butler County High School Band placed 6th out of 16 bands and received a Distinguished rating at the semi-state finals on Saturday in Louisville.  

The Butler County High School Marching Band paid a visit and a performance to several local locations on the morning of Friday, October 25 to celebrate making it to the state band competition. Among the locations were North Butler Elementary, Butler County Middle School, Morgantown Elementary School, the Butler County Courthouse, and the Board of Education.

Many people stood to watch and listen to the band's performance at the various locations. The band competed in the state band competition on October 26.
